Conventional frame wiper blades make up 60 percent of the unit sales in today's market. We offer a range of products in this segment to cover different price points and quality levels. A key differentiating feature in our popular conventional frame blades is more "pressure points" in comparison to most other products in the market.
Styling of "Beam" blades (soft cover and wind spoiler) with the wrap around (windshield contact) advantage of conventional frame blades on wiping element end tips. Our Signature series is designed to greatly reduce icing and clogging of snow on frame hinges and works with majority of the conventional and new wiper arms with easy, secure and low profile connections. This segment of the category accounts for roughly 30 percent of unit sales.
Hybrid blades match the appearance (hard plastic encasing on frame) of the original blade on growing number of cars, mainly Asian car makes and models. This encasing also reduces icing and clogging on the frame hinges. The series is designed to work with the majority of conventional and new wiper arms with easy, secure and low profile connections.
Designed for extreme winter weather performance with synthetic rubber boot encasing on the entire frame structure. This feature eliminates moisture, icing and snow clogging on the frame. The wiping element has a larger profile than all season blades which allows lifting heavier, slushier snow.
Although rear blades are now used in roughly a third of the vehicles on North American roads, they remain largely ignored for timely replacement despite the critical safety issue attached with rear view visibility. We offer conventional frame blades in sizes used on rear windshields, as well as specialty rear blades, commonly known as Integrated or composite rear Blades, where the wiper blade has a direct connection to the wiper arm and does not need any adapter. When assembled, the arm and blade look like one piece. See photos on the product page.
ClearPlus offers a full line of wiper blades for heavy duty (HD) vehicles mainly, heavy and medium duty commercial trucks, school and mass transit buses, and recreational vehicles. While some of these vehicles use the regular conventional frame blades used on passenger cars, many use specialty wiper blades wherein the frame structure and saddle connection system is designed suitably to arm pressure on these vehicles. Full trade support including application information and part number interchange with other major HD blade manufacturers is available for the ClearPlus HD program.
